Breaking: Pastor Adeboye Loses Son

*Dare Adeboye slept but did not wake up

Pastor Dare Adeboye, the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, is dead.

Lovetvnews Nigeria reports that the 42-year-old, who was the third surviving child of the revered cleric, died in his sleep on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family.

It was gathered from reliable sources in the church that the deceased, who was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35, had ministered the previous day and was said to have retired to his bed and did not wake up.

His wife, Temiloluwa, was said to have raised the alarm.

“He was not sick and did not complain of anything before the incident. Pastors in the church were summoned to pray for him, all to no avail,” a source added.

“He however asked not to be disturbed after getting home Dare Adeboye slept but did not wake up church. He retired to his bedroom, slept but did not wake up.”

The younger Adeboye was neither sick nor on medication when the tragic incident happened.”

When Dare marked his 42nd birthday in June last year (he would have been 43 in June 2021), Pastor Adeboye described him as his first miracle child.

He wrote on his Facebook page then:

“Our first miracle child. We pray that God will keep his miraculous working power in your life and all those who needs a miracle today, will use you as a point of contact for their own in JESUS name. (Amen) love from Dad, Mom and the whole Adeboye dynasty.”

The general overseer of the redeemed church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye is bereaved as his son, Dare has been reportedly dead.

It was reported that Dare who pastors one of the Abuja branches of the church officiated on Sunday.

“He however asked not to be disturbed after getting home from church. He retired to his bedroom, slept but did not wake up.”

According to insider sources who confided in TNG, it was when his wife, Temiloluwa Adeboye, noticed her husband’s unusual sleeping hours and could not reach him on phone that she raised the alarm and he was discovered dead.
